My boss wants me to learn it and help him setup and manage a database server.
I offered to use access instead, since it should be much easier to learn, but he said it's limiting. However, he personally doesn't know much about it himself either.
So how is access limited compared to SQL? How much is there to know about SQL before I could setup and manage a server? This is for a fairly small company.
Are there any pre-made ones that don't require much knowledge to use?
