Learning Sharepoint Server requirements?

What do I need to know about to be able to use sharepoint server? VB script? ASP? Server knowledge?
 
Read a book about it, pretty much the only hard part is learning how to set the permissions up correctly for beginning use then after that it pretty much gets filled in by everyone else. I have one up and running and I didn't know anything about it before, pretty simple to use program and I love it.
