I've seen it done jillions of times...i gotta learn how to weld myself now

Are there any decent guides for it?

There are schools that will teach you how to weld. Are you talking about a welding career or that you have to weld something?

My community college had a class that taught welding. It was about $250-300 for the class and materials. I should of taken it when I had more free time on my hands. I have alwasy wanted to know how to weld.

i just wanna weld somethign...welding is not that difficult, i've done it couple times but that was about 5 years ago..im gonna need a quick run down

That's what I was thinking too. I learned in high school - some local ones might even offer a class for adults.

Riiiiiight. Welding is not that difficult.

What kind of welding do you want to do? Arc, oxy-acetylene, heliarc? What kind of metal? Steel, aluminum, cast iron, bronze?

Yup,yup, welding is easy.

You don't offer enough details for anyone to help you.

It isn't that difficult, at least for basic arc welding & brazing. Doing it well requires alot of practice, moving beyond the basics can take alot of work.

He's not asking anybody to teach him welding here in an internet forum, just asking where to look for training.
Best bet is probably community colleges. I've seen courses listed in CC catalogs.
