Learning how to "mix" music, and DJ.

As a fan of electronic music and remixes in general, I'd like to learn how to do it myself. I know that some people, using sampling-enabled keyboards and the like do it on the spot; others make them in advance. I've got a MIDI-capable keyboard (Kurzweil 1000), a decent laptop running WinXP, and a working knowledge of SonicFoundry's ACID, and a bit of training with Cakewalk.

So, what the heck do I do?
