It was in this article about Ebola: http://www.foreignpolicy.com/articl...red_enough_ebola_vaccine_west_africa_outbreak

gad·fly
ˈgadˌflī/
noun
noun: gadfly; plural noun: gadflies

  1. a fly that bites livestock, especially a horsefly, warble fly, or botfly.
    • an annoying person, especially one who provokes others into action by criticism.

They called Donald Trump a gadfly, because he tweeted some harsh stuff about doctors who contracted Ebola, he tweeted that they should not be permitted back in the U.S. for treatment. I thought it was funny they called him a gadfly. Reminds me of Al Sharpton, another well known gadfly. Louis Farrakhan too.

Can you think of any other people that might fall under the description of gadfly?

List so far:
Al Sharpton
Donald Trump
Louis Farrakhan
Rush Limbaugh
Ann Coulter

Ron Paul really? Is he annoying though? He has to be annoying to make the list. I didn't think of him as annoying. Ron Paul to me is like Jesus Christ, he's not bad but his followers....ugh. Some of his followers can be very annoying. I thought of Rush Limbaugh when I saw that.

And Ann Coulter.
