this looks pretty cool, but I'm curious how well it will actually work.

I'm going to move this to Peripherals because it's closer on-topic but also because I don't see that it was posted over there and to get the word out. I watched the demo and I was pretty impressed. Thanks for posting it, kubani.

Pretty impressive, though I hope they don't get bought out by anyone like Microsoft, Apple, or Google.

Makes Kinect look like a children's toy. Oh wait, it was always a toy to begin with.

I suppose this is mostly just a toy too but it's pretty sweet.

Technology looks immense.

I'm not sure I'd want to keep my hands raised for extended periods of time but for certain situations it looks like it would be amazing.

If it was built in to laptops that would be great as well. No need to place it anywhere.

yeah, i also thought that holding your arms in the air might get old after a while, but the possibilities are pretty sweet.

also in the engadget review it was said that they were going to try to get it built into some laptops.

This looks really really cool. What I'd want it for would be to control my HTPC from my couch. Put this on your coffee table and browse through XBMC with your fingers.

After seeing the engadget video, I'm very interested, but not interested enough to preorder a product not scheduled to ship for another 7-8 months.
