Although, as all consoles have done to date, the 512mb will probably be shared with the system. That's really not as big a deal as it is in the PC world, though, that's how all consoles do it.
Still, the 10mb embedded ram. WOW. Bitboys (vaporware masters) frequently reported that experiments with large amounts of ram on-chip would improve performance something like 10x or more.
This is going to be a huge, huge, HUGE performance boost in the 3d acceleration department.
Granted, it'll take games a year or two to really put that kind of power to USE...but it'll also take a year or two before PCs even come close to matching it, so....
Interesting days ahead, that's for sure!
That said, I'm still sticking with PCs.

XBox360 may blow away any system I can build in fall of 2005...but by fall of 2006, I'll be laughing at the XBox owners again.
