There is no way that they could sell that many cards for $800 a piece...

I don't know about everyone else, but for me $250-$300 is my max.

Maybe I just don't need it that bad. My GTS will work for a while.

X-Box dev kits.

They would move a decent amount of NV20s at two or three thousand dollars a piece, just not to end consumers so much:)

ixbt was right about the nv15 having dual texture pipelines, but seeing how this is from some guy from their forums i doubt its close to the truth, then again it could be someone whos worked with a xbox dev kit who already has the nv20 inside.

notice how every release is more and more expensive?
i remember when $120 would get you the top of the line. now it seems that a $120 card is considered- budget.

$250 max for top of the line

i dont think you could ever get top of the line for $120? when was that, maybe just maybe when the tnt2 ultra was tops, but that was still around $180. Back in the day a plain 2d card cost $800, so this really isnt that bad.
