yeah, that was totally a plot of Gale to get them fightin so that Gale would get let free.
I thought Locke was more mature though. Its BS because Locke and Jack ARE equals, but now Locke thinks he has to be on top.
 
its fake. remember the episode where sun got attacked by charlie? well before that episode, there was a picture of a guy, who looked like ethan, dragging sun in the woods. and as you know we never saw ANYONE dragging sun around
