Damn, what's the price tag on that badboy? Been wanting to get a chromebook to replace my 6 year old laptop.

Feels too good to be real. I've thought about giving ChromeOS a try, but it's only being put on POS machines with POS screens. I figured maybe I'd try the Samsung Chromebook for $250 since at least it's thin and fanless, but that was another epic launch fail from Google.

You can buy it from Best Buy (online).

Looks pretty sexy even if it's just a tease video made by some random person.

Could this really be the Nexus 10 screen on a Chromebook?

How could that be a Chromebook.. It looks as thick as Dell XPS.

Definitely looks like someone made a video, hoping it would go viral and land them a job.

That would be one long, boring, and horrible ad. And the Chromebook itself just looked like a chunky MBP.

(Who knows, maybe it's real)

This reeks of being fake. It seems plausible, but the video seems entirely too unpolished to be real. Most of it seems easy enough that a savvy animator could make it, but what really makes me think it's not genuine is the person doing the voice over. Just doesn't sound professional enough.

Don't think it's possible to fake something like this? Remember the guy who made a fake trailer for a Nintendo product right before they unveiled the Wii at E3?

Here is another Chromebook "rumor". Not much details a chromebook or chromebox running a Tegra 4 processor code named "puppy".

Puppy? I wonder why a blogger would even post this on their website. AndroidCommunity apparently thought it was credible enough to do so though. Haha.
http://androidcommunity.com/tegra-4-powered-chromebook-leaks-with-hints-of-android-20130207/

So the Chomebook Pixel, which Google allegedly had a company named "Slink.Me" make the promo video. And the CEO of "Slink.Me" writes Tweets on a 13 year on on meth and is bragging about how his company got hacked (yeah all CEOs boost about that).

And now the Chromebook "Puppy". Puppy because it'll pee on your carpets and chew up your shoes. Someone didn't even try, some hoaxer out there is like, "What is the dumbest rumor I can create that will still get spread?".

if its non intel its really going to suffer in performance and it will be hard to justify the price theyre going to want for something like that

If Google were to release something like this, it wouldn't surprise me if they did so at or near cost.

Dual A15 on a more thermally-constrained process is already faster than dual Atom. This year's quad A15 should blitz through ChromeOS.
