Leak-testing a system with regular tap water...

Hey guys. I'm trying to put together a water cooling system and am about to start to leak test the loop. I wanted to know if it was ok to use regular tap water for just the 24-48 hrs it would take to fully leak test the system, or if I should still use distilled water even when testing. Currently I have it running with tap water in it, but I'll go and empty it if it will be a problem. Thanks,

Personally, I would use the distilled H2O for your leak test. I wouldn't want to contaminate my system with crappy tap water. Also, if your leak testing and it doesn't leak after 24 hours, and then you break the system open to drain it and refill it, how do you know it won't leak where you opened up the system? Hmmmmmm.
