Corporate Mundo! Also finally blew my IP, bought Brand and Nideela(sp).

yeah but Mundo sucks. Sweet skin, but I never play the champ. I'm praying that Riot listens up and eventually makes me a Sandman Trundle skin. Hillbilly Gragas, Esquire Gragas and Gentelman Cho'Gath are all other skins I love but I don't play the camps.

Lol. I just bought the new Jurassic Cho skin...I don't even play cho much but I thought it was awesome..

I absolutely love the Hextech Anivia skin..

Kog has some really good skins. The 4th, Reindeer, Butterfly, even the new water monster one..

I think the surprise fiddle "theme" is pretty cool. Are epic skins when they change the sounds as well?

I guess I go more for the monster skins, than the human skins....

I think it goes:

Legendary/Epic skins (1820 RP) change the hero model from the default and add in new sounds and particle effects.

Heroic skins (975 RP) will change the hero model from the default and may also change some sounds/particle effects.

Basic skins (450 RP) are color swaps on the default hero model.

The magnificent TF skin doesn't have any particle or sound changes and it's a 1820RP skin, everyone cries about it on the forums.

I would like to get a really good Cassiopia skin (if they ever release a good one)

all the 975 skins I have, except the fiddlesticks one, doesn't change the sound effects or particle effects. I also have quite a number of them.

I think that was done back when they first started releasing skins and had no real structure to it. Other than how popular they thought they were and thus how much they could skin us for.

And yeah, you guys are right. The Heroic skins are just model changes (other than Suprise Fiddle). I thought a few of the legendary skins were heroic but I checked and found they weren't.

I have a weakness for skins. I think my favorite that I own is Grungy Nunu. Which is a shame because I don't play Nunu. Also, owning Pink Taric fabulously improves his gameplay.

He doesn't suck at Dominion or TT. Hell he doesn't even suck in blind picks, atleast I typically don't have any problems in non-ranked games 5v5 with him.

This is why I really hate this game sometimes.

stupid_losses.png

I do really damn well in these games but can't carry for the win with a bucket. Every game listed in that pic I had zero or one death until the 30 minute mark. Then it went all downhill from there since my team mates sucked or fed like crazy. It's annoying as hell going something like 14/1/11 and ended up 14/11/11 AND having the least amount of deaths on your team by a long-shot. Anyone that says elo hell doesn't exist. Look at that screenshot I posted and kiss my butt.

What do you guys think about shaco? I love how his skills work, I just always feel like I do 0 damage. I can't be an assassin I will lose a 1v1 more than half the time, when almost any other assassin would DESTROY the opponent. Any thoughts?

Is AD really this bad?

Your thoughts are pretty much the same as mine. Cool skill set, poor damage unless farmed, tough to get farmed because you have poor damage. One of those champions that sits on a razor edge, as if he does get a few early kills it can snowball hard, but without them he is terrible.

For the stealth ganker role, I prefer twitch, as I feel it's much easier to farm up a twitch through minions even if you can't get easy ganks, but that is just me.

I'm loving those changes to summoner spells, return of the cleanse! Actually, I'm thinking Jann with Surge+CV will be nice.

I mentioned before that I was putting together a team for a casual tournament and we have one alternate spot open, especially if you're willing to backup a jungle/support/AD carry since everyone plays mid/top. PM me if interested. Games are organized between team captains 1 per week in December and I'm hoping to schedule between 7Pm-12 CST on weekday evenings. Given that I know my December schedule is hectic I would really like a second alternate and can guarantee you will play at least 1 game.

can someone report the info from that link? Some of us can't visit the official forums from work.

Here is the meat:
Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger!

Most of the classic summoner spells that you’re used to seeing will still be there for you to use heading into Season Two. Many of them will be getting retuned, however, to better suit the more aggressive gameplay that we want to promote in the new competitive season.

Most notably, Flash and Clairvoyance – largely considered the two most powerful summoner spells – will each be coming down a notch going into Season Two. Flash will now have both reduced range and an increased cooldown to make summoners feel less obligated to select it. Clairvoyance will also be receiving an increased cooldown and reduced duration to make it require more tactical use and be less punishing to junglers.

Heal and Cleanse, on the other hand, will each be receiving buffs to make them more attractive selections. Heal will now scale much more strongly into late game, while Cleanse will now remove summoner spell effects such as Ignite and Exhaust.

Out with the Old!

In addition to these changes, there were a couple of older summoner spells that didn’t really fit into how the game has developed since release. We opted to remove these less utilized summoner spells and replace them with some new options. In particular, we’ll be bidding farewell to both the Fortify spell and the Rally spell.

Rally suffers from a few unique disadvantages that are not symptomatic of the other summoner spells. Not only is it a stationary effect in a game that favors high-mobility play, but it can be quickly focus-fired and destroyed by an enemy team with good combat awareness. As a result, the Rally spell has seen little usage, and won’t be making a comeback in Season Two.

As for Fortify, one of the goals of our design changes going into the new competitive season is to continue to encourage aggressive, exciting gameplay. Having a summoner spell that promotes stagnant play by completely shutting down pushes, while also being unpopular, doesn’t mesh with our Season Two goals. We’ll be replacing this relic with a spell we think has a stronger place in the game.

And in with the New!

To fill the void left by the removal of these two spells, we’ll be supplementing the remaining complement of summoner spells with some new choices. This includes the return of the Promote summoner spell and the introduction of the new “Surge” (name not yet final) spell.

“Surge” is a brand new summoner spell that will imbue your champion with a powerful aura, boosting the combat effectiveness of both you and your allies. This new spell will fill the same niche that Rally was intended to occupy without suffering from all the adverse caveats that come with being linked to a stationary object.

Additionally, rather than promote stagnant gameplay through the Fortify spell, we’ve retooled the Promote spell for use on Summoner’s Rift. Like its Dominion equivalent this spell will provide a single minion with a significant buff to its Range, Health, Armor, and Magic Resistance stats. Unlike the incarnation of Promote that was present in the League of Legends Beta, however, this new spell can only be cast on a cannon minion, preventing a group of players from spamming it to aggressively push a single lane.

I am having a difficult time finding 3 champions that I can mix into ranked play effectively. I currently have Rumble/Teemo/??? I've tried Cassiopeia, Olaf, Trnd, Caitlyn, Nasus, and Sion. I am best with Teemo. I love the ranged abilities and the poke mechanic of his poison. Rumble is a toss in just because nobody plays him. I really enjoy his heat mechanic although I struggle with the melee range in team fights still. Typically build him for AP/HP with a Ryjal's and the AP hat. Rumble is easily my best KDA ratio though. Perhaps I need to revise my statement on Teemo being my best. Anyways, every time I pick Rumble or Teemo people think I am trolling the game and I am clearly not doing so. Maybe it is my ELO. Maybe it is people just not knowing the champions very well. Maybe they just are not good champions. I dunno. In my limited experience it seems I need a jungler but also could use a ranged AP. Any suggestions? Or if you need more info I could provide that.

All decent heroes. Just practice with them until you find a third you like best.

Lately I've been a BOSS with Warwick in lane. It's just so EASY to punish people with him and his lane presence is insane. Constant life stealing from his passive means he doesn't have to go back for a long time if all you start with is a Dorans Ring. Only one champ has given me any sort of trouble and that was Gangplank. It's impossible to punish him effectively since his fruit heals and gets him out of anything. So if he gets a little to close to the tower and I ult him, he can eat it off and walk away. Anyone else is dead.
