You're in luck Humble Pie, you've got the chance to rectify the error you made in your Nasus skin choice? Dreadknight skin is only sale on Monday.

Yeah I saw that, definitely going to get it. Pretty sure that'll give me a skin for every champ I play except ashe, but I don't like any of her skins.

If you like mushrooms just stack the AP to the high heavens and watch it kill their team after a team fight :D

I always gotta check the killshot because I randomly get kills sometimes without being near them, it's so funny.

Muahahaha!!!

Just got my second Pentakill. First was with Xin and the second just now with Master Yi. Look in my match history for Terrible Guy if you are friends with me. The last game I played with Yi I had 26 kills and largest Multi Kill is listed there as 5. Yah baby!

Nice. Interesting build you got there. Why trinity force?

With Tri-Force, Ghost Blade, and Highlander; I hit the cap attack speed of 2.5 when I activate Ghost Blade and Highlander. Sheen works when I alphastrike at someone and then again when I pop E. The extra health, move speed, crit chance, and slow on attack all work for him. The health with warmogs on top of tri force puts me at 3.4K health. Which gives him a nice AD boost with atmas. Which is more crit, defense, and AD. So I end up with around 50% crit chance with Ghost Blade, Tri-Force, and Atmas. With Armor pen quints, armor pent reds, armor yellows, and Mr/lvl blues I get everything I need to add both damage and survival. I also go 21/0/9 for masteries.

Ranked matches going offline, and in meantime they are allowing draft mode in normal games. YAY! They should ALWAYS do this. Draft is actually the only reason I do ranked.

I'm with you. I play a normal to test new champs, but it gets dumb when you are playing a champ you aren't so good at and the enemy team is ranked banned champ 1, 2 and 3 and 4&5 are other solid champs. WTF? Draft normal means that crap can be banned, and you can see the cheese strategies in time to counter them, somewhat.

On another topic, I've been playing the nerfed mordekaiser. I still like him, still a potentially devastating champion. I found myself building warmogs more often though, as the reduced shield meant my HP was getting dipped into a lot more often, and smarter AP tend to counter the super resist stacking by building a void staff. I like the incredible hp regen of warmogs + FoN as well.

Now for a LoL question of a different sort: I play on a PC but due to serious nerve issues in my left hand (I am right handed) it shakes all the time. As you can imagine trying to use a keyboard becomes difficult especially with the need for fast response with the QWER and F and D keys which is why I only play custom games but it is becoming boring. I can't tell you how many times I've missed pressing the correct key or I have pressed the wrong one. Thus I avoid team play because i don't want to hurt anyone's chances.

So for you guys that have played extensively do you think an XBox 360 controller would be a good choice or is it too inferior to the high end gaming mouse that many gamers use and therefore wouldn't make that much of a difference? For some reason my hand won't shake much when it can grip something. When I weight lift it isn't even noticable but fine motor skills are another matter.

Thanks.

Sadly, computer games that require precision mouse clicking don't translate well at all to using a gamepad. You just cannot replace mouse+keyboard with just a console controller. And I'm not talking about only compared to high end gaming mouse, but just a basic keyboard + mouse is leaps and bounds ahead of controller in using games like this.

Now, this said, you might be able to accomplish some kind of setup of mouse + controller. LoL is unique in that you consistently only need to press maybe 6 buttons, everything else can easily be mouse clicked. Most controllers however have the joystick on the left hand and not many buttons. A decent mouse with 4 buttons, and a controller in the left hand should let you have enough buttons to substitute for the qwerfd keys. This setup won't really win any kind of pro game of lol as there are a lot of other button combinations to hit like autocast, your items, etc that would require more buttons, but this should more than suffice to play at a basic level.

nanobreath - Thanks for the reply. I had a feeling that was going to be how it is but I'd figured I'd give it a shot.

I just bought Riven. She's frigging awesome. Her kit is superb and very fun. The only thing she lacks is easy lane harass, like Sin or Wukong. But she makes up for it in sustained deeps and being fun.

Why not a mouse with extra buttons? Map the buttons to your 4 skills and you should be set?

That is exactly what a friend does who can use one hand.

Humble, grats on the penta. I just stole your Yi build- I had a terrible early game but turned it around through insane pushing and farming, eventually finished your full build. Pretty beefy while still putting out a ton of damage.

Well I'm not even going to bother playing again until riven is removed from the game. So that probably means never. Every single game I play with a riven I get owned over and over and over and over and over. I don't even know what they were thinking when they made this champ. It has every strength any melee champ could have, making it the single strongest melee champ they've ever had.

play against her like how you would play against jax, or any other strong melee champ, once she's close everyone focus the hell out of her. I agree that 1v1 she's probably one of the strongest melee right now because of shield and jump and stuff, so dont try to go toe to toe with her.

for what it's worth, one game we played riven came up to my lane. i promptly Q, W, R'd her as chogath and almost killed her..maybe 1-200hp left.

So, I assume you've vs. her with multiple champs? I do not have issues with Riven, I would say Talon is much more dangerous than Riven. Riven IS good at getting away, and she's good at catching you, but unless she's fed, her damage is not that great, but she is tankier. I am wondering if you are just playing against her with champs that she tends to be a counter for?

Having played Riven, she is FUN to play, but she's not OP at all...

I agree. Though 1v1 she's pretty tough to fight from what I've seen, she's nowhere NEAR op. Simply a strong champion.

The only champ I can safely play is Malzahar, he is simply a beast against champs like her. But everytime I try to play something else, I get rocked.

Even worse is when their team is Riven, Udyr, GP, Lux, and who the fuck cares who the 5th person is because really? I wanted to throw my laptop across the room with that game.

I find Riven on the weak side compared to the other recent melee ad's. She's slightly weaker then Wukong, but with a more useful kit, and isn't even in the same league as Lee Sin.

Convinced match making is random and not Elo related. I was on a losing streak today in contrast to my huge win streak the day before. While I did great on my win streak, I will admit several of those wins I did were because the other team was full of trolls. One whole team was pure trolls mid with revive and rally and just running down middle. All except one person and I bet that person was pissed.

Anyhow, I just got done with a game where I 've been on a 6 game losing streak. So what happens is I get stuck on the same team with a few trolls and bad players who are ALL on losing streaks. Every single one has lost 3+ in a row and most only had 1 or 2 wins out of the last 10. But the other team I check afterward was the opposite. Most were on win streaks. 3+ win streaks. Two of them had only lost 1 or two games in the last few. Just based on that info alone it's a bad matchup. Still I end up with two trolls on the team and despite doing spectacular with 8 early kills I couldn't seal the deal. ended up 12/11/10. Worst was earlier when I went 26/4/8 and STILL lost. I was doing everything I could to carry that game and to no avail. Can't help it when I have trolls that suck and the other team doesn't. Other team wasn't all that good, but at least they weren't trying to grief as one guy on my team was purposefully trying to do.

The amount of griefers I see lately is staggering. One thing to lose a game that was fought tooth and nail. To lose because someone on your team is trying to make everyone they group with that day lose is frustrating. More so when matchmaking seems to make those on losing streaks keep grouping together and those on winning streaks together. Least so it seems from watching my games this weekend.
