Leaf blower + Saturday 7:30 AM = Me wanting to kill someone

I've got this mean old bitch that lives behind me. She pays someone to do her yard work. The guy loves his damn leaf blower, so he runs it for about 2 hours every time he does her yard. This morning at about 7:30 that stupid leaf blower woke me up. I got out of bed to look out the window, and I watched him blowing crap from his yard through the chain link fence into my yard. I've seen him do this before, but I pissed me off even more at 7:30 in the morning.

I've decided that I'm going to have to go buy my own gas powered leaf blower so I can blow the crap back into her yard at 2 am.
 
i used to rent a house when i was in school - the landlord thought it was ok to use a JACKHAMMER at 8:00am on a Saturday to break up the concrete floor in the BASEMENT. try that on for size... 🙂
 
Tell me about it. Last week I was going for about 7 hours of sleep which sucks but ok, until 7am comes around and there's heavy equipment moving snowbanks and crap. Who cares about them now? it's been melting for the past few weeks, they aren't 10ft tall anymore! They were all round the neighborhood until about 9 and I had to get up at 9:15. :| That and the nousy neighbors... so needless to say I bought some ear plugs a couple of days ago.

OH yeah! I say go for it! Nothing like a little revenge served at 2am. Or you could take some sleeping pills and go back to sleep for a couple more hours...

Pardon me, but di dyou think of going out and asking him nicely to a) not blow leaves into your yard and b) not work so early? Depending on how far you get with him it may behoove you to talk to the lady. It takes more balls to do that than to retaliate in kind.
 
Slap him with a violation of city code. I'm pretty sure your city does not allow any noise (construction, cleaning, yard work) before 8- 9 am on weekends/regular workdays.
 
Solution: At 3AM, pound a thin-walled pipe straight down into her lawn, and retract it with the dirt in the middle, leaving a deep, narrow hole. Insert dynamite or fill with ANFO. Extend a fuse to your bedside table. Next time he does this, KABLAM.

  • Noise

    No person shall unreasonably create a noise disturbance within the City. Any noise which annoys or disturbs a reasonable person, or causes adverse affects on humans is prohibited (before 7 AM or after 9 PM weekdays, before 8:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday).
First, tell the ass with the blower to shut the damn thing off, then tell the owner she's an inconsiderate bitch, then call the cops.

As much fun as blowing the stuff back would be, I will have to suppost the civil way and suggest you ask her not to do it.
If you think that what she's doing now is bad, just wait till they retaliate when you blow the stuff back.
