I have my vcr hooked up through the yellow composite hookup. However, there is no where for me to input the white cable to get sound, how do I do this?

Also, I'm capturing at Mpeg-2, is this correct?

Thanks

Are you asking how to connect the sound output from your vcr to your video card? :Q

Geek Card Pls....

You should be connecting it to the line in on your sound card. Or worst case, the mic jack on your sound card...

I guess I need a converter then. the plug I have is too big.

Even my capture card came with an adapter for the sound card. Left/Right channels (red/white) into 1 plug.

1. you need a mini-jack to RCa adapter.
2. Yes, capture in mpeg2 if you machine is decently fast.

I got a 1600+ XP in once pc, is that fast enough?

Or should I hook up the capture card to my Athlon 64 3000+?

I've never been very happy w/ the capture from VIVO cards. The audio seems to be slightly out of sync. Best of luck. 🙂
