Leadtek Winfast TV 2000 XP Sound Problems

I just bought one of these puppies today and have a problem with it.

The sound is very very low even when I crank the volume of my soundcard to the max, I phoned Leadtek they told me to use the latest drivers swhich I obviously had already tried.

I have tried everything the sound is there but it only comes through 1 speaker and is very low, the sound on the FM reciever is the right volume but only through the right speaker as well

Any help would be great.

If you have done all that and checked the sound volume on the card then I would assume it is either your speakers or the cord going to them, I remember I used to have this POS set of speakers that came with my old computer and they did something very similar. Also suspect your Power Adapter, if it isn't working at all then the AMP on the soundcard isn't going to be near enough to get volume in them. Hope this helps!

The speakers are a brand new set of logitech ones, everything works fine through both speakers in windows, just the tvtuner only comes through 1 of them

Anybody here have a leadtek winfast 2000 xp and can confirm there sound does indeed come out through both speakers when watching the tv?

did you try cranking up the Line In volume? This is seperate from the main volume in case you don't know. Make sure the cable is plugged in all the way.

Yep cable is in all the way and all lines are maxed

This is totally perplexing perhaps I will have to RMA it
