Hi,
This AGP video card is displaying nothing but weird colors even on the initial DOS boot screen, so I can't even get into BIOS.
I am building a dual AMD XP 1800+ system based on the MSI K7D Master board, and had just installed W2K successfully. There were some momentary screen flickers, including random weird out of place colors at times during the W2K install. I dismissed them until I could get the video card drivers installed. I had just installed the drivers from the LeadTek CD and attempted a reboot. I did successfully reboot once and was in the process of installing the Utility s/w from the CD. That is when my monitor started freaking out with the weird colors.
I have removed the card and reseated it with no success. I also lowered the default 133 MHz board jumper to 100 MHz. Nothing helps.
Shouldn't be a power problem--I have an Enermax 550W, and the AGP power connector is in place.
I am stuck and hope someone can help please?
Many TIAs,
