Leadtek WinFast A250 Ultra TD: The best Geforce Ti4600 card for overclocking in my opinion

Toms Hardware had today a review of three Geforce4 Ti4600 cards and Leadtek WinFast A250 Ultra TD was one of them. Notice the card's amazing in my opinion cooling system. Not only that but you can put a fan on the heatsink that is on the back. and provide even more cooling! Tom hit some impressive overclocking results, eventhough a bit unstable cause the board was pre-production samples and not a final product. You can find more info over HERE

Seems to me though that the Geforce4 Ti4600 is a card that really cant be pushed beyond its limits. I cant imagine what kind of extreme cooling meaures we will have to make up this time for a succesfull overclocking... Still though, the Leadtek model shows the way: The heatsinks have to be big enough, to cover the entire card...LOL

Considering that most Leadtek's come out at a premium price over the competition, I can only wonder what this will cost?

BTW-I kinda got my eye on a Leadtek Ti4400, but I'm reserving judgement until I see a price.

These are only "samples" and there were only 3 of them, Leadtek, Asus, and Creative. Don't hold judgement until you see the other competitors like Gainward, Visiontek, PNY, Abit, and the other manufacturers. Gainward will be overclocked out of the box with its golden sample and so will some other cards I imagine. It depends on the ram being used on them as well as countless factors.

When they're all on the shelf and a roundup has been done, then you will have some better idea of who is going to be champ. Heh My bet is going with Gainward cause their card looks very sweet and fast.
