LeadTek WinFast 2000 XP Deluxe doesn't work!!

Just bought this card for a total of about $50 from NewEgg, very psyched...but every time I try to start the TV program or the FM program, I get the "This program has encountered an error and will be shut down" message. It worked ONCE, when I was actually able to see some TV reception, but when the TV was on, the FM program popped up and gave me this error...there are no IRQ sharing conflicts, nothing of the kind. I am running Windows XP pro...what can I do?

I think a few people reported problems like this with the card. First of all, did you get the updated drivers off their FTP site?

You're gonna have to read through the thread in Hot Deals to find the address, but try removing the old drivers first, rebooting, then installing the updated files:
Thread in Hot Deals, start at around page 6 or 7, a lot of good stuff in here.

Yeah, I am uding the new software off their website...still same problem

Did you start with the software from the website, or update after installing from the CD?

It's recommended to start from the latest files, and basically toss the CD. Install the Driver(s) first, and then the software.

I started with the CD, then tried new drivers, then installed LAME AC codec (which was the crashing .dll) and voila, it works, solved in less than a day!

I've never had my tv part work right on mine. Is there some other software you can use that is halfway decent.
