Leadtek Ti-4200 Troubleshooting

This is what i wrote today in a hurry to leadtek. Please it it tell me what i should do.

Hello Leadktek,

Yesterday i had a major problem with my Winfast A250 LE TD MYVIVO. I installed a game and after updating its registries, i started to play it, after a while the game stoped and i had to restart my PC.

After restarting back, my Leadtek drivers were missing. I used the C-D again to auto install the drivers but got an error "NOT Leadtek Card". I then installed the drivers from the C-D folder but after reboot still no drivers.

Finally, I formated my whole PC and installed WinXP again. But even after full system format, i still get an "NOT Leadtek Card" error and the drivers do not install.

I checked the Video properties and its strange to find there is no information of the card, not even the manufacturer or bios ID.

This is a very strange problem because the card is running but Windows is unable to detect its status. Even Leadtek's Default C-D drivers fail to detect the card.

I've even tried using latest drivers and even NVIDIA OEM driver but no use.

Im sure something is wrong with my card because i have formated my system twice. Other AGP Cards ive tried are working and thier drivers are installing. Only this Leadtek A250 LE TD due to whatever reason is giving me problems.

I no longer have a warranty of the card and if there is some technical issue like BIOS updating, please tell me how to.

System Specs:

CPU: Intel P4 1.5 Ghz 256KB cache
Motherboard: ASUS P4S333-MX
Ram: Kingston 256 MB Ram
VGA: Leadtek Winfast A250 Le TD MyVIVO

So what should be done now guys??

I've just tried to flash BIOS from DOS. Got an A250 BIOS, my card is A250 LE.

No success, The BIOS update failed. I'l try again but my god, life on 16 colors is..............................

using win2K right now.

I have had some cases where the video drives will not install unless you install the agp driver for your chipset. also you can try using the latest drivers off Nvidia and see if you still have the problems as the shipping cd drivers are usually old
