Leadtek NV41 GeForce 6800 Overclock

I used the Coolbits reg hack to enable overclocking via Forceware and I clicked manual and detect optimal settings. It went to 444 MHz core and 840 MHz (effective) memory, from 325 MHz and 600 MHz! I thought that was quite impressive for a (stable!) overclock. I mean, we're talking from 40 fps to around 55 fps (a decent boost), meaning unplayable to playable! Is this insane or is it just about normal? The temperature idle is around 40 C and load is about 65 C. Are these temperatures fine? (The overheat alert temperature is 127 C). It is my understanding that I can not unlock pipes on the NV41 unlike the AGP version of the 6800. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Stock memory speeds for a 6800nu is 700MHz.

That's a pretty decent OC, nonetheless... and your temps are just fine.

Heh, actually not for the NV41. The NV41 (or my card at least) is only 600 MHz stock, according to Newegg.

Or Leadtek (it's in non-effective speed): http://www.leadtek.com.tw/eng/...eid=163&lineid=1&act=2

Maybe they're lying 🙁. Whatever it is, I'm happy... thanks...I didn't think the temps were that bad 🙂.
