Leadtek MMX440 Upgrade?

I'm not a big gamer but appreciate crisp, clear graphics doing imaging and graphic related work. My MMX does a good job but would like to stay up-to-date and around $150.00. Any expert advice is appreciated.

SSomeone offered me a Ti4600 for $140.00

That's a bit high for a (presumably used) Ti4600 -- you can get them in the For Sale/Trade forum for about $100-120. I would recommend a RADEON 9600Pro 128MB at that budget -- similar DX8 speed, much better at DX9, and ATI is generally supposed to have better 2D image quality. If you're willing to spend around $200, you could get a GeForceFX 5900NU, or RADEON 9800NP (supposedly at CC for $200 after rebate).

If you aren't into gaming, look at a Radeon 9600 128MB card, 115.00 from Newegg and will give you the quality 2D that ATI is known for.

I'd get a 9600 pro over the ti4600 for that price. You can find them new for about $140. IMO $115 for a 9600np is too much.
