Right now I have trusty retail Radeon 8500 64Mb which I can sell for $65.00~$70.00, so the cost of the upgrade will be only $34.00.
So I guess going from Radeon 8500 to GF 4 4400 is a good upgrade for $34.00...
Right?

It's ok, I suppose. If I were you, though, I would save for at least a 9600 pro from an 8500.

EDIT-Yes, it's a great deal, but I don't think it's a ton faster than your current graphics card, thus my opinion.

yep! i happen to have a PNY Ti4400 and its a great card. Since the 4200 is still $120 u have urself a great deal.
