AAARRGG!! I just ordered a leadtek geforce 3 ti 200 tdh couple of days ago (comes soon). All the reviews and forums I could find before I ordered seemed to give great reports on the leadtek ti series. Now out of the wood-works comes reports that the ram speed is lower, the 2d filter quality has been changed, buggy software, and who knows what else. Are these all rumors? Does anyone that has one or has experience with one have any say on the matter, or suggestions of what to do to overcome any problems with it. I was so excited and now I am feeling bummed and ripped off and I haven't even got it yet.

system specs:
P3-733
384mb pc133 ram
Asus CUV4X mobo
3d prophet 2 mx 400
Sound Blaster Live!
Maxtor 20G HD
w98se / have XP home ed but haven't installed it

Hmmm I will say just rumours I`ve been onthe phone to chase up my order on the Leadtek GF2 Titanium and they said their Leadtek models are selling real fast due to good 2d quality etc,as for drivers well I always use Nvidia reference drivers, anyway I will know soon since it looks like my card is being despatched tomorrow.

I have a Geforce 2 ti (Leadtek) in one of my boxes, and I am very happy with it. The tweaking software that ships with it I could do without, I use the Nvidia Geforce tweaker instead. The drivers that ship with it.... well, you should always use the best detonator dirvers you can find anyway, so what comes on the disk is always a non issue.
The hardware itself is solid. Its a nice looking card, quality parts, and it performs up to my expectations. You shouldnt be disappointed.
That said, I have read reviews to the effect that The geforce 2 ti is not a major improvment over the Ultra. But that doesnt only apply to Leadtek, it applies to the chip and any card that uses it.

I was one of the first people here to get my ti200 TDH. It is VERY fast but does have buggy WinFox software that locked up my computer. I just use the reference drivers that are available from Nvidia.

On the ram speed issue, my TDH was ordered from NewEgg for $229 shipped. I am pretty sure it has 3.8ns Ram because it does 530mhz without any problems. The newer cards that NewEgg is selling go for $189 and have a HSF that only covers the processor. This is a Ti200 T, not TDH. They are probably using lower spec ram to lower the prices. Make sure you get the TDH if you want the best one.

Thanks for the feed back so far, most of my fears have been calmed. I ordered the ti 200 THD version from powerstartpc.com for $193, it is about the same price as the ti 200 T. Did I get a good deal or does it have the lower spec ram or something? I can live with it with 4n ram but I can't stand finding out that what I ordered is not the product I was expecting when it has already been shipped.

Also, any problems with the large single heat sink? I have been considering replacing it with separate ram sinks and a different cooling fan.

Mine gets hot, no question, but the heatsink is nice.... solid and big and the fan seems to do its job well. I have experienced no artifacts/crashes/odd behaviour that would indicate a GPU heat problem..... and bro, I play alot (five straight hours plus) of games some nights!

Why don't you just take off the sink from the ram and look to see what speed the ram is if you really want to know? I did it with my former PNY GF3 Ti200 to see that it had 4ns ram and I did it with my Visiontek GF3 Ti500 to see that it had 3.8ns RAM.
