Finally after months of himing and hawing about replacing my ASUS 6600 Ge Force (1) I finally bought a LeadTek GeForce 2 Pro. I must say I am impressed with the difference. I ran 3DMark 2000 and 2001 on the card and here are the results in case anyone is interested.

3DMARK 2000 3DMARK 2001

ASUS 6600 4205 1825

LEADTEK 5985 2764

Improvement 1780 939

I was in a hurry to get the card so with shipping (next day) it was just under $160.00.
I bought it from newegg their service was great including a FedEX tracking number.

Nupe I got the 32Mb. When I asked what card to buy a lot of people told me to just get the 32Mb because the 64Mb did not make that much difference at the resolutions I am running (1024X768/32bit).

When I get a new monitor (19 inch Sony Trinitron) ill get the GF3 64Mb and give this one to the wife.

(Semi) Pro is more like it. ;)

It's the same board I have running in my gaming rig, but like Taz said, it isn't a real GF2 Pro board. It USES the GF2 Pro chip w/c is clk'd the same as the original GF2 GTS chip (200) but Nvidia's spec on the GF2 Pro reference design call for the Pro chip (@200) and 64 MB of 5.0 ns DDRAM (@400).

It's all good, though. It performs slightly better than a regular GF2 GTS 32MB (200 core/333 mem) by running at 200 core/366 mem.

I knew what I was getting b/c at the time that I was going to buy, the true GF2 Pro boards were a little out of my budget and I've dealt w/Leadtek before.

(Leadtek's) boards that are purchased here in N. America are also backed by a 3 year warranty. I got that information straight from a Leadtek CSR.

Ok, I have never heard that there is no PRO 32 Mb. That is kinda funny that they can put PRO on the box and not have it be PRO.
