Leadtek Ge3 Ti200 owners plz help

Ive noticed that im crashing a lot after long bouts of counterstrike, even at default core settings.. after closer inspection of my leadtek ge3 ti200's heatsink fan unit, i belive some of the parts maybe made of plastic and not conducting heat very well..

Can someone verify this? I scraped at it with my fingernail and paint came off.. it also has avery non metalic feel to it. There seems to be good thermal compound application, but if this large heatsink is mostly plastic it might account for why im crashing

I'm sure the heatsink is metallic, not plastic.

do u have a ti200? the back of the core is pretty hot, and the heatsink isnt even warm

I'm at 240/540, and mine doesn't get warm.

did you have to increase voltage anywhere? i do 175/500 in 3dmark runs fine... after a few hours of cs it will crash :/

Nope, no increase in voltage. Just change and go. Two days of heavy gaming, no problems.
