Leadtek A400 Problem

Hi,

I have a Winfast A400 6800 GT TDH 256 GDDR3
I was just sent an email from someone at leadtek asking me to remove one ram module as it could cause problems such as artifacting. I've never seen this problem with my last card, a 5200 ultra from BFG. When I'm playing World of Warcraft I might alt tab out and back in, I drop frames down to about .9FPS and lose parts of the landscape. I also have times where the resolution shrinks up to about 640x480 and has lines through the screen and I can't actually do anything with the computer in terms of task manager. I've heard stories and I'm pretty sure that the card is defective but I was wondering if anyone can confirm or deny the ram interference issue he described.

Probably just the tech support people are just checking to see if it's a problem with the ram rather than the video card, making sure that it's the video card to blame.
