Hi there peeps.

I just put together a new system:

Abit An8-SLI (vanilla)
512 ddr 400
LeadTek MyVivo Extreme 7800gt
3000+ Venice

Anyway, I can't seem to get the video inputs to work with either the bundled software drivers, or nvidia drivers, or downloaded from Leadtek MyVivo drivers

Am I missing something?

I removed all other unnecessary codec packs, drivers, tools, etc, started over from scratch several times. I plugged in the s-video input from my dvd player into the leadtek to try it out but so far neither the Leadtek applet detects myvivo functionality or windows movie maker (haven't tried other capture software yet, but those should detect a capture device no?)

Bump because I had the same issue to start with.
I downloaded this
And then after rebooting Windows finally decided to recognise there was new hardware. Installed drivers off the driver CD I had (universal WDM drivers for various bits, there were 4), but now when I reboot I get a BSOD just before Windows log in screen and my comp restarts, and I have to use "last known good" configuration to boot again (and obviously then reinstall all the driver bits), which means I can't actually use the MyVIVO.
