i have a leadtek 6800gt and of course its got their own cooler on it.....its very nice all copper covers front an back and memory of card and is polished like a b!tch!!!

the fan is not too loud but u can hear it sucking thru the mesh covering it

however noise isnt the problem

when i put my computer in stanby which i do alot while im out, the temperature on the card rises alot, i have a temp prob connected to a temp dispaly on my case an the heat sink temp goes from about 45 idle to 58!!! while in standby....i found out the fan stopps spinning once in stanby mode.

how can i keep the fan spinning all the time?

Since it probably cuts the power to the card and the fan, you probably can't do anything about it unless you stop the computer from going into standby.

Look in your tabs under advanced properties, there should be an option to keep the fans on all the time

Usually the utilities that come with the card will have an option to keep the fans running at full speed all the time.

I wouldn't worry about a 58^C temp during standby though, as long as the fan kicks back on when the machine comes out of standby. 6800 GTs can handle temps much higher than that without breaking a sweat.
