Leadtek 6600GT vs XFX 6600GT??

I am ordering the parts for my new build and have decided on the nVidia 6600GT PCI-Express for VideoCard.

As far as card manufacturers go for this particular card, which is better XFX or Leadtek? The computer store is currently out of the Leadtek 6600GT PCI-E but recommended the XFX 6600GT in it's place. SHould I wait and find the Leadtek?

Cheers,

Kerry

I would personaly get the XFX as that is what I own. Except mine is the agp version. Make sure you get the one with the revised cpu fan as the original had some heat issues as a lot of the 6600gt's are seeing.

I have the leadtek 6600gt (agp version) and it works great, very stable and no temperature problems. Performance-wise is great also. However one strange thing I've noticed is that the card fan spins at different speeds depending on whether it's currently doing 2d or 3d rendering. During games the fan will start to spin up, and in my case when i play World of Warcraft, sometimes the fan seems to slow down and spin up again. When this happens the game actually freezes in place for about half a second and then resumes as normal. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the card but just thought I'd mention it. I don't think i've encountered this issue in other games, when the fan spins up for 3d mode at the start of the game it stays in that phase and it's all fine.
