Leadtek 6600GT Extreme ver. HELP !!

I have purchased Leadtak 6600GT Extreme Ver.

and the Leadtak provide me with their program which allows me to overclok their card.

have anyone bought and tried overclocking with it?

if not, how can i?

and any good fan to replace my stock fan?

I would agree that Coolbits is probably the way to go. It's very straightforward to use.

I don't think an aftermarket fan is worth the trouble on a 6600GT. You'd void your warranty and potentially kill your card if you do something wrong. Although your card will probably run somewhat cooler with a new fan, I don't think you will see much higher overclocks from installing it.

I don't think you'll need an aftermarket cooler for your 6600GT. The Leadtek had a pretty decent one, if I remember the 6600GT roundup on AT a while ago. Just stick with it, and use a third party overclocking program such as coolbits or rivatuner.

before i do that, i have an another question...

umm.. my video card is .. about 50 degree at idle..
is that high?

while my CPU is 25 degree

no, it isn't worth it...you have the extreme edition, expect it to be hotter

last time i check 50 at idle is OK, but it varies between all cards, don't worry about it
