I have the new LeadTek A380 5950. I can't overclock it by 1mzh on the GPU or Memory. When i click the auto detect button. it list the GPU 410MZH Memory 910MZH. I don't know why it is doin this.
I've updated the bios.
I've tried the 52.16 53.03 53.04 53.06 53.30 drivers.
I've sent back the card back.

still notting. my computer is:
P4 3.2gzh
2gb ram OCZ
GA-8KNXP
1 200gb SATA WCD hard drive
sony IDE dvd-R

Thanks for your help.

Sorry but I forgot to say my cpu temp is at 37C to 48C. the case temp is always at 25C.
My GPU temp is 34C to 52C the Memory temp is at 28C to 34C.

Contrary tp popular belief, video cards aren't guaranteed to OC 1 MHz. It's kind of like when you buy a truck and it says the engine is rated at 285 HP, you shouldn't be surprised if it is a 285 hp engine. Or when you buy a pound of steak, you didn't get cheated if you get 16oz of steak.

OCing that card is pointless anyway, you won't be able to OC it enough that you can notice any difference in playing games. The best you could hope for is a couple frames on a benchmark.

The worst is that you fry the card and become yet another scumbag thief who OCd a high end card for no reason, then stole another one by RMA from the company who gave you exactly what you paid for.

OH, my mistake. You already are a scumbag thief whose parents didn't care enough to teach you right from wrong. Never mind. Keep on stealing from honest men.

I would not mind if the card ran at 475Mzh and 975Mzh but i can't run it at those speeds. the card liks to run at 410Mzh not 475Mzh and 910Mzh not 975Mzh. i just want a geforce card that runs at the speed that the manufacturer says it can run.

When I paly Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. The colors are off and it will lockup. so if i underclock the video card to what the auto overcloking. the game runs fine.

Tell him Rollo! Damn unappreciative rich people!

Tell him Rollo! Damn unappreciative rich people!

1. I made a mistake, didn't see he wasn't running at stock speed, only noticed he couldn't OC 1 MHz. My bad.

2. "unappreciative rich people"?! He's supposed to be rich because he has $390 video card? Wow- I must be rich too, I paid about that for my 9800Pro last summer, and will pay that for an nV40 or R400 when they come out! I'm off to tell the wife we're "rich" !

You're telling us both samples (the original and the RMA'ed card) show 410/910? Have you tried another program to corroborate the clock speeds the driver shows?

If you do in fact have a 5950, and someone didn't repackage and sell you anything less, your clocks should be 475/975 right?
If your card does not run stock speeds and you have verified this with say, coolbits or another o/c utility, then RMA the card.
Something is wrong with the card if it cant even do what its supposed to do.

I may have missed it, but did you connect the extra molex power connector to your 5950?
