Leadtek 5900 flash to 5950

I just want a link refering to the flash of a Leadtek 5900xt to a 5950. Just curious about the success rate, additional cooling needed, and when these cards were released (now vs 1st batch, etc). I may actually get one of these if im almost guaranteed it will go off w/o a hitch.

If your card's RAM can reach within 5% or so of the 5950 speeds, and the GPU can get to around 450MHz, it should work fine. Check Guru3D forums for the BIOSes and instructions. They got some crazy folks over there.
The downside is that if you can't get your core OC'd much higher, then you'll actually have a slower card, as the RAM timings will be relaxed. BUT many people have also gotten the RAM fast enough after the flash to beat their previous scores, so...
