$118 for the 32mb and $158 for the 64mb at Newegg. Which is the better deal? Does the difference in memory mean that much.........anyone?

Thanks for the input!

Multiple other threads have already discussed this on this forum and at sharkyextreme. Apparently there is minimal improvement with 64MB over 32MB. I'd save the cash and get the 32!

Just for nothin'........I did a search on this topic for the last 90 days, and couldnt find anything. If you could help with locating any of these, it may save me some time. Thanks for the help and input!

Yo,
Not much difference in performance between GeForce2 Pro 32MB versus 64MB, you can mildly overclock your 32MB version and get about the same performance.

To get a serious performance jump you'd have to go from GeForce2 Pro32 MB ---> GeForce2 Ultra 64MB, which is about double in price.

Coincidentally, I bought my LeadTek GeForce2 Ultra from Newegg, works fine, shipped to me right away without any hassles.

Thanks everyone.......I was able to do a search on SharkyExtreme, and found that almost everyone suggested the 32mb rather than the 64mb. I R-E-A-L-L-Y wanted to buy an Ultra, but like PC said, its twice the price.......so I am going to settle for the Pro. I figure that for $118 shipped, it will do me well for at least 6 months......when the Kyro 3 will come out, and who knows what nVidia has up their sleeve. Whatever it is, the prices are bound to drop significantly on the Ultras and the 3's. It's always good to have patience.....as my dad used to say: "Patience is a virtue, possess it if you can.....seldom in a woman, never in a man." I am trying to prove hime wrong :)!!
