I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do this. I have a LeadTec tv2000xp "expert" in my main computer. I just purchased the Hauppauge 250 pvr. I want to take out the tv2000xp "expert" and put it in another computer and put the 250 in my main computer. I'm assuming i have to unstall the "expert' card and uninstall the software. Once i do this i think i need to close down and start my computer up again. Then close it down again and install the 250. Then install the software that came with the 250. I don't think i'll have a problem putting the "expert" in the secondary computer. I'm somewhat confused on when/how-many-times i should shut down and start up the main computer. thanks for any advice.....Robert

That's how I would do it. Just be sure when you reboot after removing the leadtek card that all traces of the leadtek drivers and software are gone.

Good question. You can check the Windows Add/Remove program to see if you can uninstall the drivers that way. If you can't and you don't have any other leadtek hardware or software installed besides the tv card then you could probably get away with deleting the leadtek directory under the Program Files directory and then deleting all of the registry entries related to leadtek. To be safe you should probably contact leadtek tech support and ask them what is the proper way to uninstall their drivers.
