Good BBQ in Fullerton? What kind of witchcraft if this! I'm not going to say this is world class omgwtfbbqsauce BBQ, but it's really damn good. I had the garlic cheese pork fries, or whatever they call them. HUGE plate of garlic fries with pork belly, pulled pork & cheese. And country gravy on the side if you wanna add it. FUCK these were good, it was big enough for 2 lard asses, and probably 3 non lard ass types could eat it and be full. Meat was Piled super high and the garlic was strong and delicious. I personally loved the gravy. Not my pic but these are 'em
Had the Burnt Ends too, I'm not a fan of Brisket at all, but for some reason I don't mind Burnt Ends. They were tender and had a good smokey flavor. They have all the basic BBQ menu shits, and a few things I've never seen before like Pigs In A Pepper. Which are hollowed out peppers stuffed with Pulled Pork, then breaded and deep fried. I was too full from the fries alone to even think about trying this, but I will be next time I go. The owner and his staff are all cool as hell, and the prices are reasonable. The fries were I think $9? They were on the appetizer menu, but with how much meat they had it could easily be a meal for 2 or 3 people.
They also have a decent selection of craft beers, most of which I've never heard of. So this place will probably be great for the beeradvocate.com snob types lol.
If you're close to Fullerton GO HERE. It's on Placentia in the shopping center that's between the Holiday Inn off Nutwood & the Sonics.
