I decided to get down in the stream/ditch next to my house today and clean up some of the debris that had been piling up over the winter and weed whack the weeds.
I hop in the water, and what is the first freakin' think I see - a snake. he was just sitting there in the water looking at me - I'm not really afraid of them, so I just picked him up with the end of my rake into the grass. I progress down the ditch, raking as I go down, and just when I near the end of my property, I fscking start sinking!!!!
At that point, I'm starting to freak out a little, and I try to turn myself around - no good, I just start sinking more. When got down to about thigh deep in mud and sand, I realized that the more I moved, the more I sank....... I decided that to prevent myself from having to look like the dumbass that I am in front of all of my neighbors by yelling for help, I needed to lean against the bank to try and spread my weight about more evenly. After a few minutes, I was able to slip out of the slime.....
I walked back up the stream, back onto my yard, then I started hosing the mud off of me, and do I find?!!? A fscking LEACH on my leg!!!! :|
