ATi's retail Radeon 8500 is clocked at 275/275, and their OEM and Radeon 8500LE products are clocked at 250/250.
Third party Radeon 8500's vary considerably in clockspeed... on the low end there are a small number of boards clocked at 230/230, and on the high end their are boards clocked at 290/290.
Most third party Radeon 8500's come clocked at 250/250 though.
An increasingly large number of third party vendors are beginning to clock their Retail Radeon 8500's at 275/275 now, so that's starting to become a more common clockspeed among third party boards.
Soyo still retains the highest clocked Radeon 8500's, as they clock theirs at 290/290.
Apollo and Saphire are the two third party vendors I'm aware of that clock some of their R8500's at the lowly speed of 230/230.
LE and OEM are 'usually' clocked the same at 250/250, but as mentioned above it's not a certainty among third party vendors.
The 230/230 R8500's are often nicknamed Radeon 8500LELE to denote the fact that their slightly slower then the typical LE variant.
IMHO- Unless you got an excellent deal on the board I'd return it and buy NewEgg's 250/275 Radeon 8500 for $87.
They also have a 275/275 Radeon 8500 available for $109.
Both are excellent deals, and both boards come with Hynix 3.3ns DDR RAM which should lend itself to nice overclocking.
