LDAP directory

Heya - i'm trying to find a solution for sharing address books using Outlook. I've come to the conclusion that creating a LDAP server will solve the problem. The only thing is, I have 0 experience with this sort of stuff. Anyone know of any guides that can hold my hand through the process or if simple enough, post a brief tutorial? I have adminstrative access to my network & server.

First of all, which LDAP server you'll be running?

I can point you to this one. OpenLDAP for Windows or if you're running Linux, you can use this OpenLDAP

I think you can use Active Directory, but I never tried that.
