LCDs: Do they suffer from burn-in problems?

Hey all,
I was wondering if LCDs suffer from burn-in issues? Like...could I leave the monitor-shutoff option on power managment in "never?" Or is that going to be bad? (This is on a 15" T42 and the 2001FP.)

Either way, how long do you guys leave your monitors on?

Only CRTs suffer from burn-in. Even though LCDs don't have that problem I still have mine set to shut down after ~ 30 min of inactivity just to save a little bit of energy.

i dont have it shut off through window's power management. is it the same if i just power off the lcd?

Yeah it's the same thing. Though I don't always remember to turn off my monitor when I leave the desk, lol.
