LCD with good portrait mode?

I've been using an older Samsung 710T in portrait mode and the viewing angle is limited in portrait mode. Any 17" LCDs out there which have a very good portrait mode? (would be nice if it was as good as the landscape mode)
 
Wife uses a Dell a 2001FP and likes it. It's 20" but not a wide screen LCD. She changes it from landscape to portrait on a daily basis depending on what she's using it for.
 
You can use any LCD in portrait mode. Go to screen settings and select "portrait", turn your lcd on edge and your good to go.
