LCD Which is better?

Getting ready to buy a LCD monitor. My budget is 600.00. I think I want one that will be able to do 1600 x 1200. I have a 7800GT video card. I will use it mostly for gaming (Battlefield 2, Warcraft 3) and browsing. No photo editing but the occasional DVD or Divx movie.

Here are 2 that I have found that I am interested in. Wanted to get folks thoughts as far as one of these being the one I need. Or see if they could suggest something better.

Samsung 204T is the one I am leaning toward now. With the ViewSonic VX922 coming in second. I know the Viewsonic only does 1280x1026 but will it be the better for gaming?

The VX922 will be better than gaming than the 204T (in speed) probably by a noticeable margin. The Dell 2001FP is great for your purpose though.
 
I don't have the Dell 2001FP, but these forums are full of threads by people who love them. Do a search and read up on what others say about the 2001FP.
