LCD went blank

Booted up my PC... nothing but a black screen. Exchanged my Acer LCD for old CRT monitor and everything works. If i turn the power off and back on with the Acer the logo comes up, then it goes black. Even with the cable unhooked it doesn't give me the "check video cable" message.. just blank. Is my monitor dead?
 
I'd say it's dead. I had a NEC LCD2070NX do the same thing. It may have been a fuse, but since I RMAd it there was no way to be sure.
