yeah i know that, but it IS a delay.. and in a game, that delay would be added to the time it takes to draw the pixels of an enemy who just popped into your screen..It has nothing to do with latency to the server, nor does the response time actually measure latency.

I just mentioned server latency to show how a small number as 16-25ms can matter. A good ping time for me in a server is 50ms, and 80ms is noticably worse. So with a lcd with 25ms delay would make my normal 50ms ping feel like 75ms?just kinda fooling around and being curious here
No it isn't. Screen response is instantaneous. The object is drawn with no delay. The only delay is the pixel colour reaching the correct value.yeah i know that, but it IS a delay.. and in a game, that delay would be added to the time it takes to draw the pixels of an enemy who just popped into your screen..

16ms isn't perfect yet. crt is better optimally. u can have 100+hz refresh and color/contrast is better. that baddy hidding in a dark corner won't have his dark colors be indistinguishable from other muddy dark colors etc. you won't be limited to one resolution as with lcd.
