Okay so I think I am going to build an in car mp3 player out of some old computer stuff kicking around. I want to be able to play DVD's as well so I am wondering what I might need in order to get an LCD screen up and running. After researching I have found this place which has numerous good sized LCD's for cheap. I think I need at least a 6" LCD to make a movie worth watching and I saw a 8.4" TFT LCD for $125. Now this seems absurdly low priced to me (even for refurb) so I am wondering what I am missing. Other screens are listed as NTSC screens but I though that the video card was what would output the signal. So do the more expensive ones come with video cards? This size screen retails for way too much money for my budget so can I just buy a video card that controls an LCD and put the combo together? I am very interested and quite confused so any and all help is much appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

If the LCD has NTSC input, just get a video card with NTSC (RCA) output. Most TV-Out cards will have this type of connector along with an S-Video connector...

To augment the previous post.

You are confusing between LCD that is sold as a computer monitor, and this offering which it is a TV-Monitor LCD screen.

This $125 LCD is probably used for TV, or security monitoring. To use it with a computer you need a computer with TV/OUT video card, that is compatible with the input of this LCD.
