So I got a new 55" LCD tv yesterday and set it up last night. It replaced our 50" plasma I moved downstairs.
In watchign a few hours of tv, it seems that the picture is a little too "crisp"...i.e. it looks more like a home video than a television program. And the motion appears slightly accelerated, like the action is moving just little faster than it should be.
Is this the norm for LCDs? It's an LG with something called TrueMotion that is supposed to reduce motion blur in sports and such. The issues we see are on sitcoms and regular tv shows though.
Any ideas? I don't think either of us can stand to watch this long term.
