I was in Costco today and they had the Sharp AQOUS for $1,099. It was beatiful. Dont remember the model, but it was silver and had the speakers on the side. F'in gorgeous display. Decent price to.

Somewhere around a 26" - wouldn't really prefer to go much smaller or bigger in either direction. Going in a smaller room..
