Can anyone recommend a good lcd hdtv monitor that i can also use with my PC? Ive been looking all over for information but cant seem to find anyone with real world experience.

System:

Asus a7n8x-dlx
AMD barton 2500+ @ 3200+
1GB ddr400 @440
320GB SATA RAID 0
120GB external FW HD (western digital)
External Sony FW 8x dvd +-RW
Radeon 9800 Pro
19" NEC flat CRT
--------------------------------------

I have cable running into my office area and would like to use this monitor for both PC and TV use, preferably with a side by side feature at times. Costco.com had a really atttractive looking deal on a 27" hdtv 16:9 lcd froma company called Maxent. The specs looked realy decent but they dont ship to Hawaii :(

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

From what I've seen, which doesn't extend beyond best buy and compusa as far as lcd tvs, is that most of them support around 640X480 for res, sometimes 1024X768.

First off, thanks for the reply. Youre right that most LCD TV's are only 640x480 or so, if that. What im looking for is an HDTV capable lcd tv.....they start at around 1280x768.....which would be just fine with me.
