Considering that activating Temporal AA automatically turns on vsync, is it even worth using when you have an LCD at 60 mhz and a 1900xtx? It seems it would you would be better off cranking AA to 6x and NOT turning temporal AA on so has to avoid the vsync hit. Yes? I'm I not understanding how temporal AA works?

If you already have gobs of FPS then you would be best off enabling v-sync, 6xAA, and Temporal AA. If FPS are a concern then I personally just enable the highest AA I can afford.

60fps is the minimal threshold for Temporal AA to work, so unless the game can always maintaint a constant 60 fps, do not use Temporal AA. Temp AA works by varying the AA sampling pattern between frames. If the frame rate is high enough the perceived effect is double the AA sampling, so 4xAA with a 2x TAA multiplier would be the equivalent of 8xAA. However if the framerate is not high enough you will notice the changing AA patterns and it will cause a sort of shimmering instead.
