I'm going $1,500

Need HDMI and Component, Or just component as long as it does 1080P on component

1080P "yea"

No upscan slowdowns, "'' this being , some tvs if you play a game on u can notice like 5-6 frames difference, because of upscan conversion. I play fighting games competatively so this is important""

Color, i don't really care, i'm mildly colorblind anyway.

Suggestions Please

Not sure about gaming and latency issues regarding plasma vs LCD, although I'm thinking LCD would be worse.

From a cost standpoint a 50 inch plasma can be had for $1500. A 1080p LCD is affordably available at the 46 inch size for 1800-2000.

My 2 cents.

The new Westinghouse line is coming out soon and the 47" 1080p with an integrated tuner will be around $1500- $1600. I've never noticed any lag with the Westinghouse TVs but I don't game competitively. The Vizio 47" 1080p is $1600 and Costco right now and the 42" is supposed to be $999 after coupon sometime in late June or July (i'm not sure, i'd bet it is in the Hot Deals forum).

Do all of these do 1080P via either component or HDMI.

And do u know if they have the Demo TVs up so I can maybe bring my PS2 to test it?

I had this years Westy 42" 1080p set and it did 1080p over component as well as HDMI. I can't speak for the Vizio. The Vizios are sold at Costco and soon Walmart. I doubt they would care if you brought your PS2 to hook up. The Westinghouse TVs are usually sold at Best Buy all though the new models are not yet available.
